I ended up taking a break from recipe testing for the rest of the holiday season. It just made life a little bit easier. But never fear, I'll be back at it come January! Turtle Soup
I realize I never posted the results of my first time hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I apologize. I got too caught up in the actual cooking and getting the apartment ready that I forgot to take pictures and document how everything was going. But it was a success! And I did learn that when someone says sweet potato, 9 times out of 10 they actually mean yam. Argh. Oh well, live and learn. I was pretty proud of myself.
